Ensuring we maintain healthy B12 levels is already a challenge for those who are vegan, and even more so for us sisters on the endodiet because we must also stay away from unfermented soy.
Meats & Alternatives are always advocated as the best way to get B12. This includes eating foods infused with B12. As a vegan trying to stay away from medications and limiting my supplement intake, I have to be creative when looking to maintain my B12 levels.
To help with my B12 intake, I like to snack on dried apricots. I’m also trying out this new “wellness water” from a company called Karma. There are many different flavours, and one bottle is said to provide 330% of vitamin B12, along with other good stuff! On top of that, this particular concoction is supposed to help boost my mood. I’ll let you know how that goes 😅
